Below is our recent interview with Shannon Murphy, Chief Marketer at Zomentum:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Zomentum was founded in 2018, and has quickly grown to be trusted by more than a thousand partners all over the world. Zomentum delivers the world’s first IT sales acceleration platform for the channel, including IT solutions providers, value-added resellers (VARs) and managed service providers (MSPs). Zomentum removes complexity from the IT sales process by replacing numerous tools with one modern, cloud-based platform that aligns with the Channel’s customer lifecycle — Assess, Design, Convert, Automate, Analyze and Expand. Zomentum’s revolutionary end-to-end approach enables IT solutions providers to visualize their lead flows and convert opportunities more quickly and cost-effectively. Zomentum is based in San Francisco, with offices in the U.S. and India. 

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement? 

A: Step by step, we are adding to our one-stop shop for partner sales acceleration. Our platform is expanding with new tools and assessments on a regular basis. In addition to the CIS assessment, we offer an NIST assessment and a new Microsoft 365 assessment, which enables IT solution providers to accelerate revenue generation by seamlessly uncovering upselling and cross-selling opportunities around the Microsoft 365 application suite.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Everything Zomentum does is centered around helping IT partners grow their customer base, accelerate sales and expand their monthly recurring revenue. The addition of the CIS assessment to our platform is truly a win-win. The customer benefits from a security assessment created by the best internet security experts all over the globe, receiving actionable cybersecurity guidance to protect their business. The partner benefits from being able to use this assessment tool to approach new customers, but also to uncover new revenue opportunities with current customers. 

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Zomentum started with a goal of building tools to accelerate sales and drive revenue for channel partners. However, we are continuing to expand the capabilities within our platform – both deep and wide – as we add functionality that assists partners in so many other ways, like simplifying procurement, automating sales tasks, accelerating deals, streamlining paperwork, reconciling licensing and centralizing solutions management. We are ushering in the future of channel sales in 2022, and we are so eager to continue to find new ways to help partners identify opportunities and increase revenue. 

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: Zomentum was born out of the desire to make a difference in the SMB community – the drivers of our global economy. Speaking to 450+ technology partners before we launched, it was clear to us that they enable business success. We’ve built our platform to strategically solve their problems, making it as easy as possible for them to consult, quote, and close. That way they can stop selling and start delivering value. We have several former MSPs on staff who influence the development of the product and our support team has developed quite a positive reputation in the community for listening and acting on feedback from our customers. We want to make Zomentum the platform of their dreams.
