Q: For those who have never heard of it, how would you describe Hubilo?
A: Hubilo is a platform that marketers, event organisers, CMO’s will add to their marketing stack to increase engagement with their audience. As virtual events become the new norm of hosting events along with physical events, Hubilo will add tremendous value in making that possible. What was missing with physical events were the insights that could help measure ROI. What we are building at Hubilo will not only make insights available around event interactions but will also help organisers improvise experience for their attendee’s event on the event. It is like having a campaign on social media that can be measured in terms of engagement and improvised at every step forward.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your platform?
A: Goals: At Hubilo we have served a few of the leading events like GITEX, Tech in Asia, ROCHE, and have successfully raised investor interest as this is a fast-growing space. With the investment, we plan to invest in our people and get the best talent as we move towards serving Enterprise clients globally while at the same time we want to make sure that we bring the best product to the market that stands apart in terms of providing intelligence to event organisers and engagement to attendees.
Q: Do you have any particular advice for startups planning to raise capital?
A: Advice to startups would be: a) Solve a real problem and find a solution that can be scaled. B) Look for the right people who are passionate and at the same time experienced to take you to the desired outcome. C) Bring the Right investors on Board, the ones who will add strategically add to the company’s vision.
Q: You’ve recently raised $4,500,000 in Seed funding; can you tell us something more?
A: With this seed round of funding we intend to focus on:
- a. Global Expansion – Hire aggressively across Sales & Marketing teams
- b. Investing in Product Development- Our vision is to build the experience and intelligence to the platform, with this backdrop
- i. Invest engineering and product bandwidth on creating a superior experience for both virtual attendees and organizers.
- ii. Capture as many insights and event metrics and help Event/Marketing teams validate the positive ROI of doing virtual events.

Q: What are your plans and goals for the future?
A: Our vision is to be the global intelligent Virtual event platform and establish ourselves as the virtual event platform of choice for any marketers, event organisers, CMOs across. Our goal is to make events both physical and virtual a smart way of engaging with your audience, events that can be measured and improvised using analytics that we provide.
