Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Paired?
A: Paired is a mobile app for couples that helps them to take fun, small, positive steps to improve their relationship each day. We recently launched in October 2020 and have raised $1M in pre-seed funding.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your services?
A: Our app combines fun daily questions and quizzes that couples can answer together with audio tips from leading relationship therapists and academics.
Some of our experts include: University of Washington Professor and Married at First Sight USA’s Dr. Pepper Schwartz, University of Exeter academics Mark Rivett and Hannah Sherbersky, and former Head of Family Therapy Training at King’s College London Judith Lask.
Recommended: Q: What are the biggest benefits for the couples?
A: We piloted the app in Australia for several months prior to launch, and our users there told us that Paired helps them to understand where they are strong vs. weak as a couple, to talk about things that normally get swept under the rug, and to appreciate each other more on a daily basis.
Q: How private and secure are your users’ information?
A: We take privacy and security very seriously. Our user data is stored anonymously in a secure encrypted cloud database and we never see or read user answers.

Q: What are your plans for the future? Do you have any new features in the pipeline?
A: Lots of exciting plans and features in the pipe! We’ll soon have our tips in text as well as audio form, localise the app into more languages, and announce new courses with well-known experts in the relationship space.
