Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: The Extraordinary Women in Tech Global Conference provides a platform for women in the IT sector to network with peers and mentors and features two full days of talks, networking activities, experience rooms, and career advancement sessions designed to cultivate an open exchange of innovative thinking and provide mentoring toward personal and professional goals for tech leaders and rising tech stars alike.
Speakers will include some of today’s top female leaders, including Meredith Harper, SVP chief information security officer, Synchrony; Gretchen O’Hara, VP US AI and sustainability strategy, Microsoft; Petek Utku, VP technical operations Oracle cloud infrastructure, Oracle; Rani Y., global head AI technology and innovation, Ericsson; Jin Zhang, director of engineering, Meta; and Monica Lenart, senior staff software engineer, Google.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We will continue to invest in our diversity programs and help amplify women’s voices through our series of talk shows, EWiT dinners and local, in-person networking events to bring female leaders together around the globe. Our plan is to expand the EWiT platform and triple our network to make a larger impact on the community.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We operate in more than 20 countries and 200 cities across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and Asia, and we are always striving to create a culture that is safe, inclusive, and respectful. In addition to running external initiatives like Extraordinary Women in Tech, Avenue Code also runs an internal initiative called Crossroads, which continuously defines new strategies for exchanging knowledge and experience within the company, focusing on diversity and inclusion. This initiative also promotes job opportunities through a hiring process for minority groups and organizes a career plan of equity and inclusion for everyone.
