SafeDigit helps last mile delivery services integrate, and grow their brands by releasing fulfillment apps on eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix and more. Below is our recent interview with Dale Williams, Co-Founder at SafeDigit:
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: We make it easy for a logistics company, like a courier, to streamline their workflow with an eCommerce merchant. SafeDigit sets them up with an app in, let’s say, Shopify. The merchant can install it from the Shopify app store, and now everything from orders, shipping rates, shipping labels, delivery status updates, and more are automated in Shopify. Before SafeDigit, that courier would likely force the merchant to use phone, email and web portals — otherwise, they’d have to pay insane prices for someone to develop custom apps for each eCommerce platform.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: One of our investors, Acequia capital, has invested in logistics unicorns like Flexport and Flexe.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Getting out our core eCommerce fulfillment apps is priority number one. In Q4 2022, we think we’ll have a really strong suite of integrations and apps. That means we need to put this funding towards hiring top quality engineers who can build and maintain apps and integrations long-term.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Marat (CEO & Co-founder) has built hundreds of data integrations in his career. He worked for data-centric unicorns like Amazon and Trulioo, led elite engineering teams, and is an expert in integrations, data security, and data analytics. He’s a secret weapon for the fragmented data challenges we see across Logistics & Supply Chain.
