Below is our recent interview with Vojtech Boril, Vice President of Growth & Marketing at Kontent.ai:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Kontent.ai is an established global company offering an industry-leading Enterprise headless CMS, world-class customer support, and over 180 employees happy to work with you. Kontent.ai has been on the market since 2015, and our vision has always been “the best way to work with content,” and AI is now an integral part of that.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: One of the biggest highlights is that we’re offering a native, fully integrated solution, not just another ChatGPT integration. We know everyone can go and use ChatGPT for free, so we didn’t just add a prompt window to Kontent.ai. Instead, we created tailor-made capabilities that solve real problems content creators face, and we’re the first and only CMS that provides these capabilities natively in the product.
Another highlight is that our solution is fully GDPR compliant, which is not the case for simple ChatGPT integrations. We also don’t share any content or data that clients use in their projects for any training purposes, including for training future LLM iterations. This is a critical difference for customers working with sensitive or privileged data and content.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Kontent.ai is the headless CMS that enables organizations to have complete control over content to speed up time to market and engage meaningfully with their audiences across different channels.
Our platform is suitable for large organizations that value governance, as governance underpins all operations and workflows.
In Kontent.ai, content creators collaborate in real-time, making it easier to land on the best ideas, reduce bottlenecks, and maximize the impact of everything created. In addition, our platform is an API-first cloud-native solution, which means that developers can build websites and applications fast, using any technologies, languages, and frameworks they want.
All in all, the fact that our headless CMS supports both developers and content creators is quite unique on the market and something we’re very proud of.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: For us, this AI launch is only the beginning of our AI product focus. Our rebranding to Kontent.ai a year ago was not just a coincidence, and we are serious about pioneering fully native AI capabilities as a part of the CMS user experience.
We are already working on further improvements to the contextualization of AI-generated content directly in the Kontent.ai app, as well as exploring how to streamline the process of navigating, creating, reviewing, and categorizing content. We also continue executing our long-term strategy to help large organizations with complex content needs, and we believe AI will be a natural part of this process, especially when we think of automating tedious migrations or bulk updates of content.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We were founded as an internal startup of another CMS company back in 2015. The original team had only 5 people, and over the years, we grew to 150+ people and eventually separated as a standalone company with a brand new name Kontent.ai to revolutionize the way people manage their content with AI.
