Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Komodo Technologies?
A: Komodo Technologies is a SaaS company that provides screen recording for businesses. Thousands of companies such as agencies, design firms, software shops, etc use Komodo technology to communicate internally and externally with their customers. It competes with large businesses such as Loom and Vidyard to name a few.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Komodo is offering free unlimited screen recording to anyone. That is unheard of in this industry and it’s challenging the incumbent business model at the core. We’re doing what WhatsApp did to text messaging, for a comparison.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: We’re announcing this offering as the costs of bandwidth and storage are declining. The consumer should receive the benefit of these savings.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We have plans to change how teams work together when using screen recording software. A big part we’re working on is multi-player screen recording technology. We will announce more on this when it ships.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: We have thousands of teachers all over the world using Komodo to record lectures and upload them to virtual classrooms. Thousands of students are learning this way and we plan to support these initiatives with very low costs.
