Q: Ben, can you tell us something more about your background? What were you doing before Greendesk?
A: I’ve been in the military for the most part of my youth, at 13 I started the navy military school in Israel and served as a solider in the IDF (Israeli defense forces) until I was 24.
At 24 I started working in “Mekorot”, Israel national water company, as an IT administrator and stayed with the company for 3 years until I started working for “Intel” corporation as a production line employee.
I stayed with Intel for 3 years until my wife, Kamil, and I decided to move to the US to pursue our dreams and mostly my master’s degree.
As soon as we arrived, I started working for Greendesk as an IT operator and from there the rest is history.
Kamil , and I always had deep passion for new technologies and we always knew we want to have a business that will serve as a one-stop-shop for any size business and to supply them with the newest and most advanced technologies out there , that why we opened Silarius.
As Greendesk is my daily job and love, Kamil is the person that manages Silarius’s day to day installations team, online sales representatives, and services experts.
