Q: What are the benefits of using a cloud-based business PBX?
A: The benefits of using a cloud based phone system are many, but the key benefits boils down to scalability, lower costs, flexibility and extended presence. Businesses aiming to expand, can adopt a system with ability to scale with them. You might have to hire employees and open offices, and all of this can be easily done with a scalable communication system that allows you to make instantaneous changes. With a cloud-based PBX system, employees can also access it from wherever they are which suits mobile businesses. Remote workers can have real time access to their business software. As cloud solutions can easily integrate with other cloud-based applications, it provides mobile employees with access to all the features and functionality they need to work just as effectively as they would in office. This serves as a truly flexible solution where businesses can retain the latest features without dealing with any hardware or updates. Overall, it’s also a cost-efficient alternative because it allows businesses to avoid high costs of in-house installations and regular maintenance.
Q: How does it work?
A: Traditional on-premise PBX systems were bulky, complex and expensive. But with the emerge of cloud-based systems, it meets the need of modern businesses needs to communicate, but at a much lower cost and with more features and benefits. Cloud-based PBX systems use Voice over Internet Protocol technology (VoIP) to make and receive calls. All calls are routed over internet using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and businesses can choose from IP-phones, softphones and mobile devices through an app. The provider is responsible for both housing and providing your phone services and features whereas all calls, signaling and features are handled through a server in the provider’s physical location.

Q: What are the company’s plans and goals for the future?
A: The European cloud market is still in its infancy, which leaves us with a unique opportunity that can’t be shied away from. We will continue to work with our expansion in the European cloud market by helping current or new partners and resellers mature and grow with and within the movement. And we believe our unique experience as pioneers in Sweden is the key in providing resellers and partners with what they need to enter and excel. Our wholesale concept is designed to help partners and resellers take the next step by providing scalability, expert assistance, flexibility, time to market strategy as well as white label branding. Consistent collaboration and assistance with partners are of essence in providing a service that is well thought-out and understood, rather than a service that is just to be sold.
In addition, we will continue to work in offering new integrations in our communication platform. With open API’s we’re able to embed communication in day-to-day applications to suit evolving business needs. Communication was previously only limited to platforms that were specifically designed for the purpose but we’re seeing an increased demand in being able to seamlessly integrate communication in business systems and collect everything in one interface. This serves as a complete foundation and companies don’t have to waste any time or energy in implementing or building their own integrations to sreamline work. And with a cloud-based platform, you can avoid pricey investments in hardware or back-end infrastructure that is neither scalable nor adjustable. We recently added integration with Teams to our range and we continuously work to accommodate customers with customized integrations to suit their needs.
