Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: With the advent of data clouds like Snowflake, more and more companies are moving their data to data warehouses/lakes and powering analytics. This has led to heavy investments into ETL/ELT tools, data warehouses and related data tools. However, as data operations scale, so do the costs.
With no cost optimization tools available, data engineers find themselves spending more and more time trying to get visibility into their data operations, diagnosing cost spikes, analyzing SQL workloads and finding ways to optimize their data warehouse operations.
Chaos Genius uses technologies such as query patterns to analyze Snowflake workloads consisting of millions of queries to provide intelligent recommendations to spot inefficient queries and to improve performance.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: In next 6 months, we are looking to launch the Chaos Genius platform into general availability later this year. In addition, the company is looking to expand its tools to cover other popular data warehouses and data lakehouses, such as Databricks, Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift.
