Q: For those who haven’t heard of it, what is the best way to describe Factorial?
A: Factorial is an HR software for the entire company where HR teams, managers, and employees facilitate all HR processes, speeding up and simplifying collaboration. We provide with tools like time and attendance tracking, e-signature, performance management, recruitment, and many others.
Q: You’ve recently raised $16m in Series A round; could you tell us something more?
A: This funding round is key to our growth. We are fully investing in going international to accommodate our product to the needs of the HR managers in Europe and America. We already have thousands of clients from over 40 countries and from different industries.
Q: Can you give us insights into your product?
A: Factorial is an all in one solution that automates HR workflows at companies, centralizing people data and helping them make better business decisions.

Q: HR technology has always been sold as a way for HR to free up its time to do the really important work. What were your findings in this area?
A: We found out that around 80% of today’s tasks in HR can be automated. That is not just freeing up time but it’s also giving them business insights generating reports and analytics based on their people’s data. The role of HR managers is shifting from a traditional administrative or payroll related task to an analytical and strategical position. HR tech like Factorial empowers managers to make better business decisions and maintain their company under control.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We believe Factorial has to solve a broader number of problems for a broader number of people so our plans are focused on two main axes: international growth and product growth. We don’t understand one without the other so we are constantly listening to our clients trying to understand how can we solve their problems.
