Below is our recent interview with Néstor Castillero, the founder and CEO at NUMA:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to NUMA?

A: NUMA is a company that focuses on business formations in the US, banking and taxes. We do a full circle service of helping people set up their companies, maintain them and have solid legal and tax foundations so they can build their businesses.

Q: What is your company story and mission?

A: Self funded, started in august 2022 with $51 USD from my apartment in Panama. Didn’t have a job and savings were depleting, so saw an opportunity on helping Spanish entrepreneurs in Latin America to set up their companies in the US as a way to access global markets due to Latam limitations. Grabbed my iphone and started recording myself and posting on TikTok. Fast forward to 2023, we’ve served over 600 clients, never raised outside money or needed an extra investment, been profitable since the first month and have generated over $300k in revenue, all through organic content creation. Our mission is to help entrepreneurs take their dreams to a global scale, through the most convenient legal and tax set ups that serve their needs, and their clients.

NUMA - Your Life, Your Rules

Q: Who is your ideal client and why?

A: We serve Spanish speaking international and domestic entrepreneurs that want to create and grow a business. At NUMA we love the entrepreneurial and creator spirit, and enjoy helping builders and visionaries that dream with improving the world. We enjoy being part of the stories and contributing to their journey by helping them set the foundations for their companies.

Q: What can we expect from NUMA in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: Recently obtained my green card and moved to NY. The next phase is to expand within the domestic Spanish speaking market, as we’ve added insurance solutions and also helping international entrepreneurs move to the US through our new immigration division. Been approached my multiple investors that are interested in being part of our journey, so now I’m open to raising outside money to accelerate the success we’ve had and take a larger market share within our niche

Q: What is the best thing about NUMA that people might not know about?

A: We focus on building relationships with our clients and try to add value to their companies beyond formation. We keep a friendly and open approach because we’ve been through the journey of creating a new business and know the value of having someone there you can count with. We’re a full time team of 2 and execute faster than competitors with 10x our staff. We not only focus on our success, but find ways to add value to our customers so their companies also become successful.
