Below is our recent interview with Kevin Hourigan, President & CEO of Bayshore Solutions:

Q: For those who haven’t heard of it, what is the best way to describe Bayshore Solutions?

A: Bayshore is an end-to-end digital marketing agency. We’ve been in business for 24 years and we’ve seen a lot, from the early days of web design, through the dot com bubble, the explosion of Google and other search engines, to viral reach of social media, to today where things continue to move quickly. A year in our industry can feel like a decade in other industries.

When we partner with a company, we’re an extension of their team. We take the time to fully understand their business goals, the opportunities for growing their market share and their brand and make sure we’re assisting their growth with our talented team. We are strategically located in Tampa and Denver, in two of the top most innovative states in the nation and in the same time zone or one away from any of our North American customers.

Q: Can you give us insights into your services?

A: We combine website design and digital marketing strategies in a way that’s designed to help businesses grow. What that means is, we can build a fantastic custom website that not only looks great but follows a strategic plan to achieve a company’s goals. Then, we can continue to partner with that client to enhance and improve their site, while also executing a digital marketing plan tailored specifically to their unique business.

We offer the bench strength to meet their needs for website design, development and content creation, as well as the full suite of digital marketing services around pay-per-click, search engine optimization, email, marketing automation, and social media. So, instead of having three or four or five calls per month with different outsourced providers, they have one call–with us–and one source of reporting that covers all the initiatives, with one team’s proven processes for success.

Q: Why are you passionate about digital design and marketing?

A: I’ve been in this business a long time, as I said, and I wouldn’t keep doing it if I didn’t see its unlimited potential. The reason we call it Bayshore Solutions is that we don’t know what those solutions might look like from one decade to the next. We started by building websites and now we do so much more, plus we’re ready for whatever comes next.

Every year I tell our team our job is to be “Digital Experts to Grow our Clients’ Businesses.” I don’t try to predict what those services or solutions might be a few years out, but just work with the team to research the dazzling new tactics coming at us, as well as assess the tried-and-true are and find a solution that is neither too risky nor too limited in its potential to scale.

Q: What makes Bayshore different from other digital agencies?

A: We’ve been around a long time, so a client can feel confident that we’re not going anywhere. We have a team of around 60 people that allows us to have more “experts” than just “generalists” and we care, we want to be a part of our client’s digital team, to strategize together, execute together, celebrate together and dig deep together if needed. We also offer the range of subject matter experts to act as a one-stop, end-to-end partner. I’m also proud of our great company culture. Our team members care about their work and each other, and they never give less than their best.

Q: How have your customers used your services? What marketing/business goals do you help them to achieve?

A: Some clients come to us for website design only, some for ongoing maintenance, and many for a comprehensive digital marketing plan. Often, they come to us with one need at the beginning and grow with our services as they start to see results, ultimately becoming and “end-to-end services” customers of ours. We have seen our clients vastly increase their website traffic, leads, conversions, and sales to grow their businesses. Q: How has digital marketing changed over the past few years? How do you manage to keep up with these changes?

A: Digital marketing has probably changed in the last few minutes! It’s an ever-evolving industry, which is what makes it exciting but it’s also why it’s a good idea to seek expert guidance. In short, the digital landscape has become much more granular, able to speak to individual customers on a more personal level and becoming ever more efficient at reaching the right audience.

We continue to hire the smartest and the best in this field. Our existing team strives for continuous improvement, attending conferences, taking classes, and embracing the latest tools and technology.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: I’m an avid sailor so I like to think about the future of digital kind of like sailing into the unseen distance. You plan and chart a course, you execute a strategy, but you’re also ready for the unknown.

Our plan is to keep growing our end-to-end service offering for our clients, providing new and exciting career paths for our coworkers and growing Bayshore Solutions along that journey. Our team has expanded in recent years, putting us in the top 5% of U.S. agencies in terms of size. We envision even more growth with the possible addition of offices in more cities and partnering with some of the biggest, most exciting enterprise companies in the country.
