Q: Matthew, what is Rabbit Company?
A: Rabbit Company is an Open Source Development group focused on creating open-source utilities and software for companies, individuals, and more!
We love to focus on projects that have the potential to have a significant impact on the open-source community. We pride ourselves on our own projects as well! Internally we have more than 60 Active projects all in different stages of development. These projects range from our flagship software “Passky” to Dedicated Server hosting!
Q: Any Highlights of your recent announcement?
A: Our recent announcement about “Passky” comes as we have made tremendous progress on its release and updates! We are extremely pleased with the software’s progress and development and like any progressive development, we are looking for like-minded open-source individuals to come test and use our software to help us better improve it for future users. Passky is now available on Linode and Umbrel making it a one-click install for individuals who are interested in using our software on their own servers!

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Unlike other password managers, Passky allows for customization with zero knowledge of the software architecture, while still providing industry-leading encryption. One of our more recent updates gives users the ability to paste their login information into the login fields with a click, avoiding keyloggers and malicious programs while saving time.
Passky’s encryption (XChaCha20/Argon2id) allows for peace of mind preventing a multitude of attack options with virtually uncrackable encryption. Furthermore, our API call limiter limits login attempts to 1 login per 3 seconds this would make brute force attacks useless and trying to crack a password slow and close to impossible.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months?
A: Rabbit Company is always seeking new partnerships and projects. We have several active projects from Software and Utilities to Game Server Development and hosting. With our Rabbit Hosting Component, we hope to be releasing around 2-3 new game services that clients may be able to purchase and host. These games include Arma 3, Rust, and our first VR service Pavlov VR! With this, we hope to spread more awareness of our hosting capabilities and open-source cause within the Games we host. Our hosting component Rabbit Hosting is proud to be the most affordable server host available, with increased awareness we hope to significantly reduce costs for large and small communities or even individuals! Aside from our Hosting Component, Rabbit Company is working on our next big set of projects; Bloggy (Blogger alternative), Rabbit Analytics (Google Analytics alternative), Rabbit Email (Gmail alternative). These projects do not all have release dates in the next 6 months, but we have active beta testing already going on and open to the public on our current focus, Bloggy! Anyone can find the appropriate information to test our projects on our discord!
Q: What are your plans?
A: Our plan as an organization is to continue to grow and share our open-source beliefs while remaining the most affordable software, service, and utility provider available. Our primary goal is growth, through project development we hope to bring awareness to Open-Source projects as well as our organization to find and work with more people with like minds. Rabbit Hosting is a big part of our company, eventually, we hope to onboard a significant amount of knowledgeable support staff and optimize our purchasing and service creation system.
With that eventually, we hope that Rabbit Hosting will in turn be able to finance and host further development as its own entity so that we may keep our free software and affordable prices for our customers.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The best thing about our company is pretty simple, we are honest. Unlike a lot of other service providers or software development groups and because of our open-source beliefs, we do not hide a single line of code or any hidden prices. Rabbit Company and all of its active projects and code are available to view, fork, and edit on our GitHub, leaving nothing to be worried about. Rabbit Hosting prides itself on being the most affordable Dedicated Server provider available, with several different kinds of services available with all features, specs, and prices published and displayed. We are extremely proud of our Hosting Support, unlike many other dedicated server hosts we like to treat our customers with attention and the utmost respect.
