Below is our recent interview with Zee Rahim, CSO at Vidgo:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Vidgo?
A: I am excited to tell your readers about Vidgo! Vidgo is a live TV streaming service that is available to customers in the United States.
We have a really great lineup of the best channels – ESPN, Fox, ABC, Disney, Discovery, A&E, NFL Network, Hallmark, TLC, Travel Channel and more. We also have a wonderful lineup of Spanish-language channels that starts at only $9.99 per month. We believe that Vidgo offers the best channels at the lowest prices!
All of our plans come with a free trial, so you can try before you buy.
You can watch your Vidgo service through an app on your phone or tablet, on your laptop or PC, or on your connected TV through Roku, Amazon Firestick or Apple TV. I personally love to watch my favorite shows on my IPhone while I am sitting at soccer practice or the dance studio waiting for my kids to finish practice.
One really cool thing about Vidgo is that we are pioneering “Prepaid TV.” You can subscribe to Vidgo in person in thousands of stores across the country and then pay your bill in cash every month. You don’t have to have a credit card or pass a credit check in order to subscribe to Vidgo. We are both accessible and affordable. Vidgo is for you!

Q: You’ve recently announced promotional pricing to help Americans stay connected; could you tell us something more?
A: COVID-19 is unprecedented in modern times. Families are struggling, people are being forced to stay home in order to stay safe. For some people, their main source of entertainment is TV and we wanted to help out. We introduced promotional pricing for all of our packages – customers can sign up for a Latino package for as low as $9.99 per month. For our English language customers, our rates are as low as $29.99 per month and you get all of the great ESPN, ABC, Fox & Disney programming included at that low price. TV for about $1 per day! You can’t beat it.
Q: What’s social TV and what are the benefits over the traditional TV?
A: Social TV is finally here! Especially during these times of quarantine’s & lockdowns, people want to feel connected even when they can’t physically be together. Social TV by Vidgo combines the best elements of a streaming TV experience along with many social media features. Subscribers are able to interact with one another through a Social TV watch party – talk trash with other sports fans, swoon over a crazy rose ceremony, post GIFs or even post a live reaction of your expression after a sick dunk – all on the same screen as the TV content.
My friends and I love the live chat option during sports and my youngest son, Spencer, loves that he can host a YouTube Watch Party right in our app. We plan to add innovative Social TV features as rapidly as we can in order to make our viewing experience more immersive. We want the whole country to #VidgoTogether
Q: What are your core features?
A: I think that our app (IOS and Android) is the best streaming TV app around. I love to watch my shows on the go, wherever I am and whatever I might be doing. At our core, Vidgo strives to be the most accessible and affordable Live TV service on the market. We plan to have VOD and DVR functionality come online this month. Obviously, I spent some time telling you about Social TV – that is one of our core features and our users seem to love it!

Q: What can we expect from Vidgo in the future?
A: We have lots of creative plans for our service but our first goal is to expand our subscriber base. We listen to our customers and constantly strive to improve our customer experience. We believe that if we have happy subscribers, then we guarantee our success. I think that you will continue to see Vidgo stay at the cutting edge of Social TV functionality and one day, when the term “Prepaid TV” has become mainstream, you can remember that you heard it here first. From Vidgo.
