Q: Tell us something more about your products? What are their main advantages?
A: Tigo provides installers with choice using an open platform. System designers are free to choose their favorite string inverter and use our rapid shutdown, monitoring, and/or optimizers to propose the most economical and efficient solution for end users. This is true for residential, commercial and utility scale systems. Tigo is both reliable and flexible, both attributes that installers look for in a partner.
Q: You’ve recently raised $20,000,000 in funding; can you tell us something more?
A: Tigo can reach our financial commitments to our board and investors with our current portfolio of products in our currently served markets. We must service customers and continuously improve our execution. The funding will help us with that execution, including investments in service, customer education, and supply chain management. Investments include personnel, systems, and working capital designed to directly improve the customer experience.
Q: Who would be your ideal customer and why?
A: Installers look for simplicity and choice. We are striving to improve the simplicity of our solution with our Tigo Enhanced program. When customers see that logo, they can be sure of tested and proven interoperability. The choice afforded by the Tigo product line is unparalleled. For commercial and residential installers who value their autonomy and freedom, Tigo is the right decision.

Q: What are your plans and goals in next 12 months?
A: We must invest in the customer experience. From a product standpoint, this means making our solution simple to choose, install and use. Both our TS4 hardware and monitoring platform must continuously improve. From a service standpoint, we will be focusing on both self-service tools and a rapid, accurate response when customers need to hear from an agent. Finally, we must make our partners successful – be that inverter and module manufacturers or distribution.
