Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Rootine unlocks better health and daily performance with precision nutrition. Rootine’s first product focuses on optimizing cellular nutrition through a personalized daily micronutrient membership and a unique digital experience where members can track and improve health.
Members get access to at-home testing and health data analytics, actionable insights, and a digital dashboard. Rootine is helping thousands of members improve their health, manage their stress, eliminate brain fog, and more.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We brought together an incredible group of investors who all share our vision for a future where health and nutrition decisions are data-driven and personalized, and who believe in our mission to empower people to leverage their data to achieve optimal health through precision nutrition.
As a female led and male-female founded team, we are committed to democratizing health data for all. We further this commitment in our seed round, bringing on a diverse set of investors with ~50% of participants in the seed round being underrepresented investors including women, BIPOC, and Latino communities.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Rather than the standard one-size-fits-all approach of other supplement companies, Rootine creates a unique formula that is 100% customized to individual genetic, biological, and lifestyle data so your body gets everything it needs and nothing it doesn’t. Based on member-reported data, 70% of members see improved health after using Rootine, and that number gets closer to 85% after three months. 50% of members are improving energy levels, 60% are managing stress better, and there’s a positive impact across sleep, skin health, mood, and more.
We’re solving two problems in the consumer space that other companies don’t address. One, we use biological and genetic data, rather than just lifestyle surveys, to approach micronutrient level recommendations. And two, we’re empowering people to leverage that personal data to improve their health while delivering a continuous feedback loop.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Over the next few months, we’re excited to continue working towards our mission of empowering individuals to leverage their health data to achieve optimal health with precision nutrition. We will be investing in product and software development to improve the member experience, announcing several exciting partnerships, and expanding our team across engineering, marketing, and customer experience.
We will also be launching an invite-only, curated community for for health enthusiasts and high performers to connect, inspire, learn, and achieve their goals. A: Rootine is built by a strong team with a collaborative culture. The team is passionate about the intersection of health and science and strongly believes proper nutrition is an integral part of one’s lifestyle. We celebrate weekly wins and share the latest in research, customer feedback, and trends, actively discussing creative ideas and ways to move Rootine forward while also keeping in touch in a remote-work world.
We were working remotely before it was made popular by the pandemic. This enables people access to a startup environment, regardless of geography, and it allows for a better team. We are building a strong team fueled by a common interest in the human performance space.
