Below is our recent interview with Ran Oelgiesser, CEO & Co-Founder of RightBound:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: RightBound provides a new, innovative approach to B2B sales, addressing the impossible complexity in the heavy lift of prospecting, transforming manual routines – such as company research, prospect selection, and multi-channel outreach – into a data-driven, AI-based autonomous process.

Founded by Ran Oelgiesser and Rotem Dafni, RightBound currently has 20 full-time employees with offices in Kirkland, Washington, and Tel Aviv, Israel. The company also has employees in Arizona, Massachusetts, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: After a great year, growing in revenues 100% quarter over quarter, we completed a $12 million funding series, led by Innovation Endeavors with participation from Operator Collective and IBI Tech Fund.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: RightBound is the next evolution of outbound sales development. With the power of AI and machine learning, RightBound’s technology helps automate and optimize the sales development process, and bridge the gap between research and prospecting efforts.

On the research front, RightBound is connected to dozens of data sources and thus automates list building for SDRs, uncovering thousands of accounts and prospects per month. According to the ideal target profile set by the user, audiences are automatically segmented and enriched along with verified contact information, and seamlessly pushed to your CRM or Sales Engagement platform.

But RightBound doesn’t stop there. We analyze and customize the sales playbook, creating an optimized version per each target prospect based on their industry, profile, and past engagement. RightBound adjusts timing, content, channels, and outreach “intensity” to find the ideal path that is most likely to engage the prospect, or switch to another prospect within the target account.

Everything RightBound’s platform does feeds directly into Salesforce, Hubspot, SalesLoft, and Outreach, and it also learns from the sales team’s activity to improve its machine and models.

RightBound’s customers have achieved 20-40% increases in outbound sales results and 100% ROI within 3 months of implementation.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We addressed a challenge with a highly complex technology that spans across the whole sales development workflow. We will leverage our funding to enhance our core product, improve our machine learning and models, as well as investing in the best customer experience and customer success, with a dedicated account manager for every customer.

Q: What is a great thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: RightBound is taking a path to autonomous prospecting – one that has not been attempted by any player in the sales tech industry. Our AI is making autonomous decisions on behalf of sales reps, making their research and outreach so much more effective and efficient. Many customers are initially skeptical about whether this approach can work, but they quickly become our ambassadors, growing the use of RightBound within their company and recommending it to colleagues at other companies.
