Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Ridge, the world’s most distributed cloud, unlocks the full potential of cloud computing. It empowers businesses to deploy applications anywhere, on any infrastructure, with no latency or data residency obstacles. Ridge’s simple-to-use cloud-native services, including CNCF certified managed Kubernetes, provide developers with public cloud agility together with private infrastructure performance.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We’re excited that our partnership with Hivelocity will expand our customers’ ability to deploy cloud-native applications anywhere their customers are. Our joint offering combines the best of the cloud and bare metal technologies, and provides a platform through which they can launch cloud-native applications at a lower cost, with reduced latency, greater data sovereignty, and superior performance.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Our cloud enables application workloads to be run and integrated on physical resources anywhere on the globe. It operates programmatically and runs in specific locations without needing to purchase services from hyperscalers. As a result, enterprises can create a cloud computing strategy in the location(s) of their choosing. As digital transformation sweeps the globe, Ridge’s distributed & flexible cloud enables businesses to adapt to change and expand their footprint without limits.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Ridge’s cloud is already available in over 150 locations. Over the next six months our footprint will continue to grow by adding new locations based on customer demand. We’ve recently added IaaS services to our portfolio. We will continue to support enterprise needs by adding cloud-native services on top of existing and available infrastructure in locations around the world along with new PoPs.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Ridge prides itself on its ability to easily and quickly connect to existing infrastructure all over the world. Many of our customers are surprised to discover how quickly we are able to add PoPs and to programmatically connect them to the Ridge cloud network. It can typically be completed in a matter of a few days or even hours!
