Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Perfect Corp. is the leading provider of AI and AR technology solutions for the beauty industry, and the developer of the award-winning suite of YouCam apps, including YouCam Makeup, YouCam Perfect, and YouCam Video. We’re committed to pushing the frontiers of AR and AI for retail to drive engaging shopping experiences and dynamic brand connections through innovative tech. Our partner portfolio includes over 350 global brands each integrating unique SaaS technology solutions across omnichannel touchpoints to drive a 360-degree approach to tech innovation to better connect with consumers and drive conversion.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We recently partnered with Snap Inc. to launch the first of their shoppable Lens experiences with The Estée Lauder Companies. The news was announced at Snap Inc.’s 2021 Partner Summit, and M·A·C Cosmetics will be among the first brands in The Estée Lauder Companies’ portfolio to launch the Dynamic Shopping Lenses on their Snapchat profile. Perfect Corp. is the first partner to enable the transfer of existing brand assets into Snapchat’s Business Manager platform, enabling easy cross-platform integration for brands. Snapchat’s Dynamic Product Lenses will be available to all brands and product categories later this year.
We also recently announced an integration with Google for the launch of an AR interactive beauty try-ons through Google search. The AR virtual try-ons are helping brands enhance their brand presence across Google by introducing interactive try-ons within the experience. Perfect Corp.’s AR-powered virtual beauty try-on are also helping online shoppers discover and experiment with a range of different beauty products and shades online through Google search.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Perfect Corp. services brands and retailers large and small through an extensive range of SaaS offerings that cater to the specific needs and budgets of any business. The surge in online shopping stemming from the pandemic, made AR and AI virtual try-on experiences a necessity for brands to keep consumers engaged online– and now in stores too. Perfect Corp. continues to meet demand by providing unique omni-channel beauty tech solutions to meet the need for interactive and hyper-personalized shopping experiences powered by AR and AI. While we always offer custom enterprise solutions, our YouCam for Web and YouCam for Shopify services allow us to extend AR and AI services to more brands than ever before, by providing streamlined self-service solutions catered to small and medium brands with more restricted budgets. Through the rising interest in e-commerce we’ve also expanded our offerings to include new interactive digital experiences including on-demand Beauty Advisory consultations for web and interactive AR Livestream content for brands to integrate within their web shopping experience.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: AI is the driving force for the future of beauty tech innovation and we will continue to invest heavily in this category to expand our product offerings building on a truly personalized and tailored consumer shopping journey. This also means expansion across new categories like eyewear, jewelry, and accessories. Additionally, as consumers return to life outside the home, our innovative AI and AR technology will continue to allow brands to provide a safe, convenient, and hyper-engaged digital experience across all their touchpoints, online, in-store, and across mobile and social. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with our brand partners as they navigate these shifts and look to incorporate this technology into their overall strategy.
