Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: The Sure Sort® previously only handled inventory items four inches high. The new enhancements to Sure Sort include increased height capability to accommodate taller items up to 6” inches, such as a standard shoe box. Based on retailers sorting a diverse set of goods we believe this will expand the number of SKU’s that can be sorted by nearly 15%. The increase in product size not only allows for items to be sorted with Sure Sort technology, but in many cases a better ROI.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: The industry-leading scalable, configurable, and cost-effective small-item robotic sorting system. OPEX’s® Sure Sort® solution has changed the way companies handle small items, particularly as it relates to parcel sorting, multi-line orders, and reverse logistics. This solution replaces the need for most manual put walls and employees traveling through a warehouse.

Whether it is building kits, handling an increased volume of returns, moving to more urban areas, or getting more orders out the door, our customers are continuously challenged with handling a higher volume of product with the same amount of space. By utilizing robots that travel vertically and horizontally in a rack structure, Sure Sort is uniquely positioned to maximize the space in a warehouse and provide a compact, quick, vertical sorter that can be integrated and deployed easily.

Single items in a variety of shapes and sizes, and parcels up to 5 lbs., can be delivered to their designated sort location at rates up to 2,400 items per hour. The Sure Sort footprint offers the maximum number of sort locations in the most limited space and reduces labor needs up to 75%.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: As ecommerce is expected to experience its first $1 trillion year, the urgency for companies to automate the order fulfillment process is at an all-time high.

We will continue our growth in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC and remain committed to innovating and providing additional value to our customers. We encourage you to watch and see additional product enhancements that will meet the ever-increasing needs for ecommerce, micro-fulfillment and omni-channel fulfillment.
