Omnipresent is a UK-based startup founded in November 2019, by Guenther Eisinger and Matthew Wilson, that is taking the complexity out of global employment. Below is our recent interview with Matthew Wilson, CEO & Co-founder of Omnipresent:
Q: This is the first time we have spoken. Can you provide a brief overview of Omnipresent?
A: With the use of Omnipresent’s simple tech-enabled platform, companies can onboard employees compliantly in over 150 countries, providing distributed team members with local contracts, tax contributions, and local and international benefits such as health insurance, pensions and equity options. To date, Omnipresent has raised a total of £12.6M from investors including Episode 1, Playfair Capital and Truesight Ventures.
Q: How can your platform help businesses?
A: We make it possible for any company, no matter what size, to build global teams and become international. Using our streamlined platform, clients can manage all their employment needs (contracts, payroll, benefits etc.) for multiple international employees in one place. Our coverage is truly global, we operate in over 150 countries and have 24/7 expert support for our clients.
Q: You’ve recently raised £11,000,000 in Series A funding; can you tell us something more?
A: We are proud to be able to say that we are the fastest, Entrepreneur First launched, startup to raise Seed to Series A funding. We managed to raise £11M in only 5 months, against the backdrop of a global pandemic.
Q: How have you attracted businesses to using the platform?
A: We have been able to attract businesses by offering a simple tech-solution to a complication problem, with additional bespoke specialised and 24/7 support for all our clients.
Q: What is next on the roadmap for Omnipresent?
A: We are setting the bar high and establishing Omnipresent as the leading operational support service for any company with dreams of international expansion. Ambitious dreams need global teams and we’re here to make this happen for any company, anywhere.
