MIND secured $72 million in Series B funding led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, bringing its total capital to $112 million at an estimated $300 million valuation to scale its AI native data loss prevention platform amid rapid enterprise AI adoption.
MIND, an AI native data loss prevention (DLP) platform, raised $72 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, with participation from existing investors YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. This brings the company’s total funding to $112 million (some reports note ~$113 million including minor prior amounts).
The raise occurred roughly one year after a $30 million Series A (June 2025, led by Paladin with Crosspoint participation) and followed an $11 million seed round in October 2024 (led by YL Ventures). Combined Series A and B capital exceeds $100 million in 12 months. Market sources estimate the Series B valuation at approximately $300 million, roughly a tripling from the prior round. All proceeds went to the company with no secondary component. Crosspoint committed about $35 million and marked its first investment in MIND; the firm had previously put in roughly $5 million during the Series A period around MIND’s RSAC Innovation Sandbox recognition.

What is MIND?
MIND was founded in 2023 by CEO Eran Barak (previously co-founded Hexadite, acquired by Microsoft for ~$100 million in 2017), CTO Itai Schwartz (early employee at Torq and Axonius), and VP of R&D Hod Bin Noon (early at Dazz, later acquired by Wiz; Unit 8200 background). Headquartered in Seattle, the company employs about 70 people. It positions itself as the first AI native DLP platform that puts DLP and insider risk management (IRM) “on autopilot,” delivering both data security posture management and active prevention.
The core product, marketed as “Stress Free DLP,” is designed for simplicity, autonomy, and completeness. It discovers and classifies sensitive data across SaaS, GenAI tools, agentic AI, endpoints, on-premises file shares, and email using multi layer AI that analyzes both content and context. It detects risky activity with context aware intelligence (reducing false positives), remediates autonomously via AI DLP Agents, and prevents loss in real time through policy driven blocking or user coaching/education. The platform aims to address the shortcomings of legacy DLP, complex deployment, high operational burden, static policies, and inability to keep pace with AI driven data movement.
In the year since Series A, MIND reported more than 17x (or 1,700%) revenue growth and 8x (800%) customer growth. It describes itself as an eight figure revenue business (sources cite an ~$10 million annual revenue run rate roughly 18 months after starting sales) trusted by dozens of customers, including Fortune 500 firms in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology. Named customers include Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (protecting PHI from entering AI tools), National Geographic Society (labeling sensitive documents and gaining visibility into AI agent interactions), ThoughtSpot, Guild, Noname Security, Gravity Payments, Paychex, Everon, Crunchyroll, and Sungrow. The platform has analyzed billions of data events in real time and prevented sensitive data loss across hundreds of thousands of endpoints.
Additional milestones include becoming the first data security company accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program and the first in its category to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI management systems. It was a top 10 finalist (and the only pure DLP entrant) in the 2025 RSAC Innovation Sandbox.
How will MIND use the funds?
Funds will accelerate development of the autonomous Stress Free DLP platform (deeper AI governance and agentic AI coverage), expand presence in major enterprise markets, deepen technology and channel partnerships, and scale the team. Leadership emphasizes moving faster on product and people, global expansion, and raising the bar for customer expectations in data security.

CEO Eran Barak has framed the opportunity around AI transforming data flows: employees and autonomous agents move sensitive information at machine speed across more systems than traditional tools were built for. He notes that while ~90% of enterprises have deployed GenAI tools and more than two-thirds use AI agents, 65% lack confidence in their AI data security controls, and one in five AI initiatives fail due to weak data foundations. The ambition is not merely to modernize the multibillion dollar DLP category but to redefine it and establish MIND as the leader for the AI era. Barak has publicly targeted a path to $100 million in revenue and a billion dollar valuation within roughly two years, preferring measured raises aligned with revenue traction over larger, valuation heavy rounds that could dilute long term value for employees and investors.
Crosspoint Capital Partners brings deep cybersecurity heritage, its team includes veterans of Blue Coat and Symantec who helped define the original DLP category. Managing Director Zach Sivertson cited strong momentum since the Series A and RSAC recognition as reinforcing conviction in MIND’s ability to help enterprises reimagine data protection amid AI driven risks. Existing backers YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group continued support, signaling confidence in the rapid commercial progress.
The raise occurs amid surging enterprise adoption of generative and agentic AI, which simultaneously expands data exposure surfaces (uploads to AI tools, agent access to internal systems, rapid cross system movement) and creates demand for purpose built, autonomous security controls. Legacy DLP is widely viewed as inadequate for this environment due to complexity, false positives, and lack of real time prevention at AI speeds. MIND competes in a market that includes established players such as Varonis (reportedly in acquisition discussions valued in the multi billion dollar range). Its AI native architecture, rapid growth from stealth to eight figure revenue in under two years, enterprise logos, and credentials position it as a high momentum contender seeking to capture share as organizations rebuild data security foundations for AI success.
The $72 million Series B reflects strong investor validation of MIND’s product market fit, execution velocity, and timing at the intersection of AI adoption and data security urgency. The capital provides runway to scale product autonomy, go to market reach, and team capacity while pursuing category leadership in AI era DLP.
