Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Super Hi-Fi is a company that provides advanced technology (AI) services to music experience providers. Our primary customers are streaming music companies, radio companies, fitness companies that use music. We started Super Hi-Fi with the goal to help these companies deliver incredible listening experiences to their customers so they can drive more loyalty. We’ve done this by creating the first-ever artificial intelligence that has the same skills as a world-class radio DJ. Imagine a fantastic broadcast radio station… it has voices narrating the experience, artist interviews and exclusive content, and it may also have sonic logos for a branded experience. All of the music transitions perfectly between songs; so, there’s never any dead air. Super Hi-Fi automates all of that and allows our customers access to those tools to help bring their wildest listening initiatives to life, quickly and efficiently.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Yes! We have been working for quite a while now to create a ‘layer of compatibility’ in the industry between different B2B service providers. We started over two years ago with an integration with Napster that allowed their B2B customers to use Super Hi-Fi’s capabilities without any complicated integration work. We followed that up with a partnership with the Octave Group, which owns Play Networks & TouchTunes to power thousands of retail music experiences globally. Now, with our 7digital announcement we are significantly expanding our broad compatibility within the industry, giving our customers the ability to use 7digital’s music catalog out of the box, and providing 7digital’s customers access to Super Hi-Fi’s tools with minimal effort and no excursions integration required.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: I think the easiest way to understand our offering is to think of Super Hi-Fi as an Automated Production Suite. Anything that a DJ or sound engineer can do, Super Hi-Fi can do, but at internet scale. We are delivering over 1 billion AI ‘decisions’ a month now for our customers, helping them to significantly speed up their outputs and lowering their costs. Most importantly, we’re freeing up their creative resources to be able to focus an what’s really important: the development of incredible listening experiences.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We have a deep list of new tools and features to announce over the coming 6 months. In fact I’ll say we have more product announcements coming in the remainder of the year than we’ve had in aggregate since we started the company, and we are incredibly excited to eventually share everything that we have in store.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: I love that question! Without any doubt it’s that our entire team is so laser focused on delivering amazing innovation. We have a ton of very cool technology powering our services, but under every line of code is a team member writing that code, making the choices necessary to allow our technology to work as well as it does. This stuff is hard, and it doesn’t just happen by chance. It only happens when you have the right people with the right experience putting in the right effort, and we are really fortunate to have such awesome teammates building this platform day in and day out.
