Q: What is the impact of current situation on business?
A: The Coronavirus pandemic has had a significant negative impact on many industries, however, it has also emphasized the need to become more efficient and cost-effective in areas that are critical for the functionality of the business, including procurement and supplier management. In our experience, while many companies that we approach prefer to postpone discussion until things “return to normal”, many others are actually more available to learn about methods and technologies that could enhance their productivity and reduce cost within a short time frame.
Q: What are the key benefits of using Nipendo?
A: An enterprise could have hundreds or thousands of suppliers and interact with each of them multiple times over a period of days/weeks/months, across various types of documents. Nipendo’s Cloud based Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform for Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process automation is an intelligent intermediator that streamlines interactions between an enterprise and its suppliers across all P2P processes and all types of spend.
We put to work hundreds of software bots that replace most of the tedious manual work around order fulfillment, supply chain, AP and payments with real-time, 24-7, error-free machine work supported by AI and machine learning. The key benefit of nipendo, therefore, is that it replaces manual, error-prone P2P processes with touch-free, error-free automation without replacing any of the existing systems or processes. By automating P2P processes, regardless of their type, volume or complexity, the platform reduces costs by over 50%.
Simple integration into existing ERP systems, full automation around error and discrepancy resolution and complete compliance with enterprise governing rules enable rapid implementation and a reduction in human intervention. In addition, Nipendo uses unique technologies and methodologies to onboard almost 100% of suppliers, regardless of their size, type or method of interacting with the enterprise.
Q: Who is your ideal user and why?
A: Nipendo’s platform brings the greatest value to enterprises greater than $200m in annual revenues that interact with over 1,000 or so suppliers, primarily around Direct spend categories.
Q: What can we expect from Nipendo in next 6 months?
A: From a business perspective, we will see additional partnership agreements signed with US and European companies and announce new deals signed with major industry players, currently in the works. On the technology side, nipendo will continue developing new product features alongside supporting the growing needs of existing customers.
