Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: BooksRun is the all-in-one independent online marketplace where anyone looking for books can buy, sell, and rent everything from textbooks to bestsellers. Q: What makes you the best choice? How are you unique?
A: We combine expertise and innovation to deliver exceptional value, provide the best prices, and accelerate handling and shipping. Customers who shop at BooksRun enjoy safe and reliable service for selling, buying, and renting books and textbooks. We work with individual customers and, in our B2B segment, also work with libraries, schools, and colleges.
Q: Who is your ideal user and why?
A: We are now working with both general and educational audiences. While BooksRun initially focused on textbooks and addressed the need for affordable educational materials, over time, we extended our services beyond that sphere. More people were looking for books, so expanding to different genres and diversifying our inventory and offerings allowed us to serve more customers.
Q: What can we expect from you in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We plan to further improve our services to provide the best possible experience. Currently, our customers can buy, sell, and rent books (as well as use our B2B services) in the US. They can also purchase books from BooksRun in several other countries (e.g., Canada, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and France). In the future, we hope to extend the range of services and locations to serve more customers.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: BooksRun promotes the circular economy by extending the life of books. A large part of our inventory consists of used items, so by selling, buying, or renting on BooksRun, customers contribute to zero-waste principles. Also, through its EcoRewards partnership with One Tree Planted, we help plant new trees and ensure the process of book circulation stays effective and eco-friendly. Together, we’ve planted more than 25,000 trees to date.
