Below is our recent interview with Lambert Egbuchulam, Chief Executive Officer at BAU:
Q: Lambert, what is BAU?
A: BAU is a platform to help local businesses and its customers form long lasting connections with each other. Our purpose is to facilitate better relationships and provide an ecosystem for content and information to pass effortlessly from business to consumer.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We have recently launched our platform. We are currently looking for small businesses to be the first to experience the benefits of creating meaningful relationships around them and establish initial market share, locally.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: There are no platforms available where consumers could really know local businesses. When observing platforms businesses promote on, there are always professional barriers consumers are barricaded by.
Do we care to know who we buy from? Of course we do. Business transparency is in fashion.
We provide an opportunity for businesses to open up to customers and show more value, while selling products/services. We give small businesses the edge they need to keep consumers engaged after the sale.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: In the next 6 months, I plan to acquire more small businesses on the platform and build out our ad network to start creating revenue. We essentially want to create a safe space where local businesses can rely on each other’s content to push advertisements. This technique is known as peer to peer marketing. Building our peer-to-peer ad network would be crucial to company success, but it starts and ends with businesses active on the platform.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: It’s free for everyone to use and businesses to promote.
