The startup aims to eliminate “deadhead miles” by installing automated, parking space-sized pods throughout cities. These robotic pit stops will inspect, clean, and charge robotaxis closer to high-demand areas. This decentralized strategy aims to optimize vehicle runtime and increase overall fleet profitability.
The pods function as temporary structures to bypass extensive municipal permitting barriers. Utilizing computer vision, the pods handle standard upkeep while referring complex tasks back to main depots. Funding will support five operational prototypes and double the technical workforce.
