Q: What is L7 Defense?
A: L7 Defense is an API security startup company. Q: What is the main advantage of your virtual platform?
A: Ammune™ API security platform is an INLINE advanced Machine Learning solution that is made to actively protect APIs from the most advanced attack types, while hunting down “zero day” attacks with no impact on the normal traffic. Ammune™ API security platform discovers and defends automatically on each and every API. It iteratively builds negative and positive profiles of each API, that are used to spot and stop emerging threats that would otherwise go unnoticed. Ammune™ does not require previous experience of specific threats or pattern of activities. It works automatically, without prior knowledge or signatures, detecting and fighting back against subtle, stealthy attacks in real time.

A: First, closing a financing round during these challenging Covid-19 days definitely wasn’t easy. Mid 2020 was a very difficult period for many reasons. Global panic levels were on the rise and that naturally resulted in the investor community becoming much more cautious, putting many investment processes on hold. Secondly, I want to thank our investors for the support during these challenging times and for the new investors believing in the company, the technology and the team and closing this round.
This is a clear and bold vote of confidence in L7 Defense’s capabilities, and we intend to use these funds to further extend our technological lead and business expansion.
Q: What’s the best thing about L7 Defense that people might not know about?
A: I believe the best part is the diverse, but cohesive team that makes L7 Defense such a special force, everyone knows their tasks and goals and how these mesh-up together enabling the company to achieve its strategic goals. Altogether we have a great team, this is something I don’t see very often.

Q: What are your plans for the first half of 2021?
A: The recent investment will enable us to simultaneously and forcefully advance in three dimensions simultaneously – first, we will now be able to build a powerful go-to-market plan that includes beefing up our sales and support structure in the US and EU to support global growth. Secondly, we plan to build a marketing infrastructure and organization that will increase L7 Defense exposure and media awareness, and further demonstrate our thought leadership, and generate demand. Lastly, this will of course enable us to further extend our technological edge and solidify our technological leadership.
