Below is our recent interview with Elizaveta Shydlovich, Inbound Marketing Director at Intetics:
Q: For those who haven’t heard of it, what is the best way to describe Intetics?
A: Intetics is a leading global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions built with SMAC, RPA, AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, and GIS/UAV/LBS technologies.
Based on proprietary pioneering business models of Offshore Dedicated Team® and Remote In-Sourcing®, an advanced Technical Debt Reduction Platform (TETRA) and measurable SLAs for software engineering, we help innovative organizations capitalize on global talent with our in-depth engineering expertise based on the Predictive Software Engineering framework.
Intetics’ core strength is the design of software products in conditions of incomplete specifications.
Our advanced software engineering background and outstanding quality management platform, along with an unparalleled methodology for talent recruitment, team building, and talent retention, guarantee that our clients receive exceptional results for their projects. At Intetics, our outcomes do not just meet clients’ expectations, they have been exceeding them for a quarter of a century.
Q: Natalia Sidorenko has recently joined the company as your Vice President of Human Resources and Operations Europe; could you tell us something more?
A: Intetics is now in an essentially important period of high growth in terms of people, the number of projects, and revenue. This triggers the need to bring in more senior leadership managers to assure the company advances its business, brings in and retains top talent, and further embeds its core values and dynamic culture.
Natalia will design, update, implement and evaluate programs to attract, retain, reward and motivate top talent and top performance. This is expected to support and sustain the high growth of the company’s resource infrastructure required to successfully deliver software development services.
Mrs. Sidorenko has proven track record of success in the Operations and HR area coming from her great experience on related positions in Samsung, Epam, and Luxoft. She brings over 14 years of experience to Intetics, with about 5 of those years in Samsung Ukraine R&D Center, where she heavily invested in the development of recruiting, HR, education, employee relation management, Environmental Security and Safety programs.
Q: Why do companies outsource? What is the state of software development outsourcing for 2019?
A: Outsourcing has long ceased to be only the resource of quick and simple delivery of software products and applications to the market. Today outsourcing has acquired a strategic meaning. It’s seen as not just an opportunity to save but as a critical tool in innovation. The current competition on the market has become so intense that wise organizations rely on outsourcing to both gain competitive advantage and expand the global footprint.
Outsourcing has stepped up to meet the maturing needs of the tech industry and is now revolutionizing the way business is done in just about all sectors. In the last year, Deloitte reported that 31% of all IT services were outsourced and Statista confirms that the global outsourcing industry generated 88.9 billion U.S. dollars in revenue.
By reaching out to outsourcing companies, global organizations seek flexibility and business efficiency, rather than simply lowering the costs. Among the important reasons for outsourcing one can name:
– Access to new markets and increased time-to-market
– Redesign of business processes
– Improvement of customer service
Having these things covered by an outsourcing software development provider, companies acquire the opportunity to move forward in a more accelerated mode, since most of the ancillary and a certain part of core functions are transferred to the provider.
Along with that, companies that are looking to hire highly-skilled tech talent are not anymore limited to candidates within a certain mile radius of an office location. Partnering with an outsourcing company, an organization can hire the team they need for a specific project and it doesn’t matter if that person or team is located halfway around the world.
Thanks to modern technology and the internet, access to technical experts is easier and more affordable than ever before. This is the approach that we advocate. It is initiated by the Predictive Software Engineering framework, we invented.
Q: How the Intetics approach to software development and delivery is different to others?
A: Predictive Software Engineering (PSE) framework is one of our major differentiators. It advocates the development of custom software products in a way that is transparent by involving all stakeholders. The framework is specifically tailored for using the global pool of talented professionals. As a result, clients receive a high-quality software product within a guaranteed timeframe and intended budget. Today companies use it to ensure that the software development process is precise and predictable.
The framework consists of seven specific concepts:
• Meaningful Customer Care
• Transparent End-to-End Control
• Proven Productivity
• Efficient Distributed Teams
• Disciplined Agile Delivery and DevOps
• Measurable Quality Management
• Sound Human Development
Together they ensure transparency, as well as render the process controllable and predictable in its essence.
The Predictive Software Engineering framework assists companies with forming a development team most suitable for their project, i.e. equipped with the required set of skills, experience, and knowledge, as well as achieving the best overall efficiency, both financial and productivity-wise. Additionally, it guarantees to get a product that fully meets business objectives with the least technical debt possible. Our partners who leverage this framework can eliminate the uncertainty in software development projects and transform product development into the process that guarantees results, making software development predictable, and business results easier to attain.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: Innovation is in our DNA. We are actively engaged in research and development of machine learning technologies, computer vision, cloud computing, IoT, and robotic process automation (RPA). We created Centers of Excellence that actively investigate, research and implement the top-notch technologies on our projects.
At Intetics, we also have a separate department focused on the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. Several of our clients already use RPA solutions for effective business process management. Intetics teams are also working on the development of software solutions for drones and geospatial system. We respond to the market needs and make software concepts come alive. This is our motto.
