Below is our recent interview with Dave Cox, Chief Operating Officer at Park Place Technologies:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Park Place Technologies is a global IT infrastructure and solutions provider with a unique portfolio of offerings and services designed to streamline the monitoring and management of your environment.

We are your IT team’s trusted infrastructure partner. Driven by our Service First philosophy, we dramatically reduce complexity and streamline the monitoring and management of IT environments through our portfolio of solutions. Park Place enables uptime and empowers IT teams to focus on innovation by consolidating services, automating processes, optimizing performance, increasing agility, creating cost efficiencies, and expediting mean time to resolve.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We just announced the asset acquisition of a new network-focused inventory and logistics management solution, developed by Charlotte, NC,-based SiteGrid. NetSure+ combines an inventory management and sparing solution with Park Place’s global networking maintenance services to deliver a low-cost, superior customer experience. By coupling customer-owned spares with SiteGrid’s software and Park Place’s global logistics footprint, customers will have access to a completely new service that is not available via traditional maintenance programs. We call this joint solution NetSure+.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Our unique DMSO (Discover, Monitor, Support & Optimize) approach increases infrastructure visibility and control by integrating IT management at the hardware, network, OS, and application levels. Park Place’s industry-leading and award-winning services include Park Place Hardware Maintenance™, Park Place Professional Services™, ParkView Managed Services™, Entuity™ software and Curvature Hardware sales. By adding capabilities for customer-owned inventory with NetSure+, Park Place will offer customers a network OEM-compliant service with TPM-level savings.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: Park Place can help you with the global chip and parts shortage. Delays in OEM equipment deliveries of three to nine months are commonplace right now due to persistent component shortages and supply chain issues. Curvature, a Park Place Technologies company, hasn’t felt the shortage that continues to rock the “primary” market. A lot of the latest devices rely on the new chips that are in short supply caused by the perfect storm of factory shutdowns from the pandemic, significant disruption at production facilities, some evidence of stockpiling, and most critically, increased commercial and domestic demand throughout Covid-19. Curvature has its own global supply chain, and our stock remains steady. Where customers are committed to new equipment, our world-class maintenance services can help extend the life of existing assets until that refresh.
