Eyvo eProcurement Solutions is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company that designs and develops eBuyerAssist, a fully hosted web-based eProcurement workflow management and purchasing system. Below is our recent interview with Michael Petter, Managing Director of Eyvo eProcurement Solutions:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to Eyvo?

A: Eyvo (formally known as Mikrofax) has been in the software business for over 25 years with its US incorporation in 2009. Eyvo is headquartered in California, USA with offices in London and Mumbai.

Eyvo’s clients include industries such as hospitality, construction, logistics, legal and various other verticals.

Q: Eyvo eProcurement cloud application has recently become GDPR compliant; could you tell us something more?

A: Sure, GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation – it’s a new law that goes into effect on May25th 2018 and its extremely important for all software vendors to alt least know about it if not be in compliance with it. It has been designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU citizens data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy.

While not all companies operate globally, almost all companies will have customers or suppliers in the European Union. Since this GDPR mandate is covering the personal information of all contacts stored and transmitted in the course of transactions, we implemented an end-to-end military grade encryption process that ensures compliance. In turn, we are able to serve any type of company regardless of their functional requirements or geographic location.

Q: What makes you different?

A: Without a doubt its our flexibility and Service plus our very strong feature set.

Q: What types of implementations and functions can you deliver to your clients?

A: Eyvo focuses on cloud-based implementations though we are also able to provide on-premise installation. Our eBuyerAssist solution has all the standard e-procurement functions such as Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Vendor Punchout Catalogs, Management Approvals, Receiving, Invoicing, Payments, Employee Expenses, full management reporting and active budgetary alerts. We also have a robust Inventory and Asset module as well as some special ones like Recipe costing, Customer and Vendor portals.

As for system configurations, we offer three main types, single company, multi-company with a super user oversight, and single company with multiple (sub)sites.

We offer four types of approval processes to ensure that our clients can closely match our software to their business processes. Our notification setup is also highly granular which allows clients to find the exact configuration that suits their needs.

Our mobile applications are available in the app stores for both IOS and Android devices and support many of the input functions such as Request, Expenses and all Approvals.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: We are growing at a rapid pace and planning to continue to expand both in terms of employees and geography. Technologically, our plans include OCR document recognition, IoT integration for inventory and assets, blockchain transactions, machine learning for sourcing and chatbot integrations for support and domain knowledge spread as well as some productivity tool integrations like calendaring. Of course, we continue expanding our functionality based on industry needs and client feedback.
