Below is our recent interview with Lina Lugova, CMO at Epom:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Epom is the family of ad tech products designed for meaningful advertising was founded in 2010. The first product of the company, an ad server, was launched that year as well. In more than a decade, Epom honed its ad serving algorithms to perfection as well as built a white-label demand-side platform with advanced auto optimization tools.
The company held three consequtive Ad Summits in Kyiv with speakers from Google, Facebook, and Youtube, which made it one of the most significant ad tech event in Ukraine. It won an AdTech Innovation Award from MarTech Breakthrough Awards in 2019 and was recognized as TOP-30 Ukrainian startups by Forbes in 2021.
As a brand, we embody honesty, openness, and client-oriented approach in what we do. Our mission is to make ad tech software that help clients to advertise the way they want, without any limitations and unnessecary expenses.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: We released the latest version of our DSP product, where we revamped interface, updated our bidding multiplier and other optimization algorithms, added a new ad format, and added a new feature in the bid request validator.
What’s more, Epom announced our honorable partnership with Wargaming, to whom we provide our ad server product. Epom ad server helps Wargeming to advertise their games in-house along with providing unlimited customization to their ad delivery processes.
And the last notable news is our plans for Epom complete re-branding, which is still in progress. The major goal of it is to deliver our message more clearly and improve user experience for our potential clients. We are going to present a brand’s new character by the late summer.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Our two major products are Epom ad server and Epom white-label DSP. Both are robust and transparent instruments that allow clients to advertise in their own way.
Epom ad server is a platform with 800+ features on board, designed for smart supply & demand management. With its help, you can run cross-channel ad campaigns, prioritize deals, apply custom targeting and use dozens of ready ad format templates. It’s powerful enough to serve as the major tool for precise fine-tuning of your ad serving ecosystem. All peppered with the ability to customize anything you need.
Epom white-label DSP is a sleek tool for programmatic campaigns. It features a refined set of bidding optimization algorithms, 100% data transparency, and CPC bidding. Thanks to its white-label functionality, you get a full platform ownership, access to admin settings, no bid markups, and custom supply partners setup.
Epom DSP is also available as a self-serve platform as part of Epom Market agency, where selected users can buy and sell traffic on Epom ad exchange.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next six months? What are your plans?
A: In the next 6 month we are about to release the next version of Epom DSP and develop a comprehensive course for media buyers. On top of that, we will deploy the revamped version of our website and present a new Epom brand.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: The best thing about our company is how we treat each other. I believe that strong relationships can’t be built without honesty and warm attitude, despite the fact we are working in the B2B segment. No matter if you start a relationship with a brand or a person, all company’s are built by people for people after all. We are largerly team-focused, and this helps us to speak to our client as part of our family. Probably that’s why our average customer stays with us for 5-6 years.
