Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: DesignCon is the world’s premier conference for chip, board and systems design engineers in the high-speed communications and semiconductor communities. DesignCon, created by engineers for engineers, takes place annually in Silicon Valley and remains the largest gathering of chip, board and systems designers in the country. DesignCon is organized by Informa Markets’ Engineering portfolio, the leading B2B event producer, publisher, and digital media business for the world’s $3-trillion advanced, technology-based manufacturing industry.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: DesignCon 2021 will take place August 16 through 18 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, which has received Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accreditation.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: The three-day technical conference and two-day expo combines technical paper sessions, tutorials, industry panels, product demos and exhibits from the industry’s leading experts and solutions providers.
New this year, Drive World + ESC (Embedded Systems Conference) will join DesignCon at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, enhancing the event by offering learning and networking in the automotive electronics/intelligence and embedded/IoT spaces. Drive World + ESC will bring eight educational conference tracks targeting automotive electronics + intelligence and embedded systems + IoT. This conference is available to DesignCon All Access passholders.

Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Education and connection are so important to the community of engineers who attend DesignCon in Silicon Valley each year. In the next six months, we’ll continue to focus on finding new ways to provide additional new, online opportunities for those within this important community to expand their knowledge and bring about further innovation to the industry.
