Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Daffodil Software was established in 1999 with a simplistic ideology “to find an innovative solution to large and complex problems.” We wanted to play a significant role in delivering innovative and progressive software solutions for our clients and helping them scale their businesses.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Daffodil Software, recently announced that it has been featured in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2021. The company is positioned as an ‘Aspirant’ under the Digital Product Engineering Services category.
PEAK Matrix is one of the most trusted, data-driven assessments of global service providers, products, and solutions within various market segments. It evaluates leading organizations around the globe on factors such as vision, capabilities/functionality, talent availability, market success/impact, and cost. The PEAK Matrix Assessment enables organizations to gauge and calibrate their offerings against their peers, which ultimately helps them to do better.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Over the past 20 years, Daffodil has established a strong position in the software development domain. We have worked with some of the most innovative startups and established Fortune 500 brands, globally. Daffodil Software is a software engineering partner to various organizations globally and has been helping them in making their software products more robust, teams more productive and processes more efficient. Our ability to deliver innovative state of the art solutions with scale and speed has been lauded by our clients as well as the tech community worldwide.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Daffodil is set to increase its headcount by 50% by the end of this year. This is attributed to its exponential growth over the last few years which has transformed the company into an industry leader. It is set to open nearly 500 positions in the year 2022 for lateral hiring as well as freshers straight out of college. This increase in the headcount will contribute to Daffodil Software’s growth and counter attrition.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: During the pandemic when most of the businesses were on the cusp of disaster, Daffodil Software witnessed a whopping 45% of growth in revenue and was actively hiring new talents, becoming a beacon of hope in those desperate times. This boom can be traced to Daffodil’s rigorous investments in employee training and the adoption of technological and industry best practices.
Daffodil invests extensively in training. It has revamped its training methodologies so it can train freshers straight out of college in the latest technologies, business processes and other skills required for an IT job.
The company is scaling up to employ more women in the workforce in order to build diversity in the workplace. It is redefining the powerful role of a woman in the fast-paced IT industry with initiatives such as “BreakTheBreak Programme” which provides a platform to women who took a break from work and are striving to resume their careers. Through this programme, Daffodil Software aims at providing opportunities for women to re-integrate themselves professionally. This program also gives women a chance to upgrade their skill set and adjust to the contemporary work environment. It invites women to be a part of a culture that reflects continuous learning & development, a result-oriented mindset, and innovation.
