Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Crisp is the open data collaboration platform for brands, distributors and retailers. Crisp leverages AI technology to connect and normalize retail data sources to provide real-time insights and trends. Hundreds of food suppliers, retailers and distributors use Crisp to manage supply more efficiently, reduce waste and maximize profitability.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Data is only valuable if it is actionable and Crisp’s new partnership with The Trade Desk allows marketers to tie advertising campaigns with actual in-store inventory levels. Inventory data at the store level can help marketers recalibrate and optimize advertising campaigns with the goal of driving real business results that translate into sales.
For example, they can use location targeting to build segments based on proximity to on-shelf products, focusing spend to make sure every media dollar counts.
Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Crisp’s open-data platform leverages big data and advanced analytics to enable a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable global food system. Crisp facilitates the free flow of data between hundreds of brands, distributors and retailers, allowing the supply chain to stay ahead of rapidly changing consumer behavior, respond to disruptions, keep shelves stocked, and prevent food waste for hundreds of brands.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: We expect additional partnership announcements with major retailers, distributors and in the ad tech space. We also will continue to facilitate new ways for supply chain trading partners to work together, creating a more efficient supply chain with less waste.
Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Oftentimes, people expect a data platform to be complicated and time-intensive to set up and navigate. Onboarding with Crisp happens so quickly – within a matter of days, that our customers are always pleasantly surprised at how quickly they see value from the product. One customer – even in the onboarding demo – realized upon seeing their data in Crisp that they were missing out on tens of thousands of dollars in sales for a top-performing SKU! They were able to quickly identify the issue and resolve it, getting the business back on track.
