Q: Can you tell us something more about your platform?
A: Cognata provides a realistic automotive simulation platform where virtual cars travel virtual roads in digital twins, from cities to unmarked terrain, all remarkably true to real-world weather and road conditions. Working with leading automotive technology companies around the world, our end-to-end platform accelerates time to market by delivering simulation solutions for the entire automated driving product lifecycle, from training to testing to deployment.
Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Cognata’s Simulation Platform to join the exclusive portfolio of Hancom MDS to become its premier solution for ADAS/AV prospects in South Korea.
Cognata is proud to announce these partnerships with leading local players, HANCOM MDS are strategic partners that will increase the adoption of simulation in the key automotive markets. This announcement comes after Cognata’s Chinese branch opened earlier this year, as Cognata deepens its foothold over the Asian markets and is now working full steam ahead for recruiting experienced and dedicated staff.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?
A: Cognata’s dedicates tremendous work to making its simulation platform as photorealistic as possible. This includes high-resolution unique sensor modeling (including fish-eye and thermal cameras), automatic ground truth annotation, and the creation of advanced dynamic digital twin models.
We also address the elaborate challenges autonomous robotics have to face – and create and expand our ready-to-use library towards training, testing, and validating. As we see the regulation trend emerge, we aim to be ready.
Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: The automotive industry has been experiencing difficulties arising from social adaptation. The public understanding that mobility requires new ideas, which have already been developed in Israel, makes the Israeli automotive and smart mobility industry become an active innovation lab. Other than making the autonomous vehicle a reality in our day-to-day transportation, we aim to help in regulating and advancing other autonomous fields including those targeting military defense applications or other off-road markets.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?
A: Cognata currently works with most of the 7 biggest Tier 1 companies in the market. We are expanding, fast, and recently announced that Cognata’s simulation suite was chosen by the IDF and The Israeli Ministry of Defense.
