Los Angeles-based Brahma AI secured $150 million in Multiples-led growth funding at a $2 billion valuation, bringing its total capital raised to roughly $250 million to scale its AI native enterprise audiovisual content platform.
Brahma AI raised $150 million in a growth equity round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management (with a $100 million commitment), valuing the company at $2 billion post money. The financing was structured as a preferred share issuance. The company has also received roughly $100 million in additional investor interest and is evaluating an upsize that could take the total closer to $200 million. Cantor Fitzgerald served as sole placement agent.
This brings total disclosed funding to approximately $250 million when combined with earlier capital (including activity around the 2025 Metaphysic combination and related investments that previously supported a valuation near $1.43 billion).
What is Brahma AI?
Brahma AI positions itself as the AI native operating system for enterprise audiovisual content. It was founded and is led by CEO Prabhu Narasimhan, who combined technology stacks and capabilities from DNEG (the visual effects house behind major films), Metaphysic (merged/combined in early 2025), and Prime Focus Technologies. Co-founder and CTO Jo Plaete leads technology and R&D.

The platform has two core layers:
- Brahma AI Core: Ingests enterprise audiovisual data, makes it searchable and discoverable, and turns it into actionable intelligence and automated workflows (media asset management, metadata generation, compliance, delivery, etc.).
- Brahma AI Studio: Powers creation tools, including ATMAN (digital humans) and VAANI (authentic voice synthesis in any language), plus broader visual AI, multilingual performance, and generative capabilities.
The company emphasizes a “Mind²” philosophy that pairs human creativity with AI scale. It claims model agnostic architecture, strong focus on security, authenticity, and provenance, and is preparing to launch interactive digital humans. Industry recognition includes a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award for AI based face replacement and performance-preserving post production technology.
Key operating metrics highlighted by the company include more than 100 million assets managed, over 60 proprietary AI engines, 100 PB of archives powered, 18 patents, fulfillment of roughly 10 million VOD assets annually, and use in major blockbuster films.
Brahma AI targets four primary verticals: media & entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising/brands & agencies (with additional activity noted in retail/e-commerce, education, and enterprise communications).
Global anchor customers include Warner Bros., the NBA, and Mayo Clinic. Strategic distribution and technology partners include Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG. Relationships are typically multi year (often 3–5 years), with a high concentration of revenue: approximately 80% comes from about 24 large enterprise customers, primarily in the US and Europe. Recurring revenue forms a meaningful portion of the business, and the company reports high gross margins while remaining close to break-even despite heavy R&D investment.
Financial Trajectory and Use of Proceeds
On a pro-forma basis for the combined businesses and technology that formed Brahma AI:
- 2024 revenue ≈ $45 million
- 2025 revenue ≈ $74 million
- 2026 tracking in excess of $130 million
Management has articulated medium term targets of roughly $500 million in revenue within three years (framed as capturing about 1% market share) and $1 billion over five years. At the $2 billion post money valuation against the 2026 run-rate, the implied multiple is approximately 15× forward sales.

Proceeds are earmarked primarily for accelerating research and development (including interactive digital humans and model agnostic capabilities), expanding global go to market operations, building a significant Silicon Valley presence, and talent acquisition. Multiples has indicated it will be an active partner on R&D, market expansion, and organizational build-out.
Prime Focus Limited (via its subsidiary DNEG) remains the largest economic shareholder at approximately 66% post transaction (after dilution from the raise, ESOP pool, and founder equity). Voting rights, however, are expected to decline substantially, from the prior high 80% range to roughly 25%. Brahma AI will continue to operate as an independent company with its own board, management, and governance under Narasimhan. The Multiples investment is subject to customary shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Existing shareholders referenced in coverage include DNEG, United Al Saqer Group, and prior Metaphysic investors.
The raise positions Brahma AI to scale its enterprise content platform beyond traditional media into broader industry verticals where audiovisual content is becoming central to operations (healthcare digital twins, sports localization and fan experiences, advertising personalization, etc.). Leadership has stressed that the technology is intended to amplify existing teams’ output rather than solely reduce headcount.
Near term priorities center on commercializing interactive digital humans, deepening model agnostic infrastructure, strengthening security/provenance features, and expanding the Silicon Valley footprint alongside existing hubs. The company has stated it has no immediate IPO plans and is focused on long term category leadership in the emerging enterprise AI content operating system space.
The $150 million round at a $2 billion valuation reflects investor conviction in Brahma AI’s combination of Hollywood-grade visual AI heritage, enterprise content management infrastructure, blue chip customer traction, and multi vertical expansion runway, while providing the capital and independence needed to accelerate product development and global commercialization.
