Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to BounceX?

A: BounceX created the People-Based Marketing (PBM) cloud and is the first new revenue channel with scale for marketers in 10 years. We deliver performance that no one else can, with technology that no one else has. Our PBM cloud drives directly attributable revenue for clients with similar or better scale than top search and social channels within their own analytics platform.

Q: You’ve recently announced $37M in Growth Round; could you tell us something more?

A: We raised $37M in Series B funding led by Battery Ventures with participation from existing investors: Contour Venture Partners, Cross Creek Capital, Primary Venture Partners, Jason Finger and Rho Ventures.

It’s a huge milestone for us, and over the next 2 years, we intend to invest this capital in further growth and expand to 600 people globally with a concentration in our NYC and London locations.

Q: What exactly is People-Based Marketing?

A: People-Based Marketing (PBM) is a strategic approach to marketing in which marketers target individual people, rather than groups, with relevant messaging across different channels and touchpoints. An optimized PBM strategy leverages both consumer identification for accuracy and automation for scale.

Q: How are smart tech and PBM shaping the future of digital marketing?

A: Identification technology and PBM are shaping the future of digital marketing by placing the customer at the center of every marketing decision. Minimalist marketers of the future will take the ‘less is more’ approach and live by the mantra, “If you enjoy your marketing, everyone else will, too.”

A: Our goal is to continue creating value for our clients with products that will consistently drive growth and revenue. Over the next few years, we will continue to work on products that we believe will drive another massive growth period for the marketing community at large.
