Q: What is Pincone?
A: Pincone is a simple and well-designed bookmarking tool that makes it easier to share content with others or privately. With Pincone, you can create teams for your coworkers, friends, family or anyone else! Inside a team, you can submit links, add them to categories, label them, search for them across the entire team and much more. Once you sign up for Pincone, you automatically get access to your own Personal Pincone where you can enjoy all the benefits and functionality of Pincone, alone.

Q: Why is it important? Tell us something more about your product?
A: We constantly share links with friends, family and coworkers. We share these over SMS, WhatsApp, Slack, email, etc. Some of these links are important and we want to easily recall them later. That’s why we built Pincone. We haven’t found a tool that makes bookmarking, organizing and sharing links easy.
Q: Who would be your ideal user and why?
A: Our ideal users are private users and teams. Everyone has access to their Personal Pincone and can bookmark links privately. Teams, on the other hand, can share links and knowledge with everybody else on the team. We’ve seen use cases where people use it inside their company, with friends and with their family members.
Q: Can you tell us something about your pricing?
A: Our pricing is very simple. We don’t charge for your Personal Pincone, it’s free to use without limits. For teams, it’s a flat fee of $5 per month per team. There are no limits to the number of users or links, knock yourselves out. Also, for small teams of up to three members, Pincone is completely free.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: We’re just getting started. Soon we’re launching two new features: the ability to import bookmarks from other services and commenting. We think commenting is a wonderful addition that will spur discussions and allow users to leave notes for themselves on links. Apart from that, we want to grow Pincone into a platform that makes it easy to share knowledge apart from links, but more on that in the future.
