Below is our recent interview with Amy Chan, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Bigleaf Networks:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Bigleaf Networks built a whole new kind of networking foundation for IT leaders to deliver a truly reliable technology experience over the public Internet for every app, every technology, every user, everywhere—over any ISP. Bigleaf solves the internet dropouts, slowdowns, and outages that everyone hates. Our team is a dedicated group of network software and service experts dedicated to helping IT leaders solve today’s new business technology challenges with powerful technology, simple implementation, and friendly support.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: Yes! We were sharing a study that was recently released by Techaisle, a market research and analyst organization. Their report, “Thriving in the ‘Next Normal’: Digital transformation, post-pandemic business success and the importance of SD-WAN,” identified how small and midsized businesses who establish holistic approaches to digital transformation are achieving higher growth and profitability than those who approach it as individual initiatives. Their research highlighted how critical connectivity and network reliability are to their overall efforts and how SD-WAN helps these forward-looking organizations address their challenges and more successfully reach their goals.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Bigleaf is a new kind of networking foundation for IT leaders who need to deliver truly reliable internet connectivity. By combining proven SD-WAN technology with groundbreaking AI software, Bigleaf classifies and prioritizes application traffic, and steers it around internet issues so it can reliably get to and from anywhere it needs to go, all without the need for policies or manual configurations. With Bigleaf, IT leaders can finally ensure the same reliable user experience for cloud and internet-technologies over the public Internet as they’ve had for technologies hosted in their private LAN and WAN.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: We are always looking at ways to innovate how we ensure customer experience is world class and in the next six months we are investing heavily in the infrastructure that will allow more customers to enjoy the Bigleaf Network. We are in the midst of expanding our current datacenter points-of-presence (POPs), launching a new easier mechanism for partners to provision our services, and connecting back up with partners at in-person events.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: Our network and service is really as good as we say. It is cliche but our own employees deploy Bigleaf at home because of how well it helps overcome connectivity issues. This is something we live and breathe on a regular basis. We are fanatical about serving our customers by ending bad internet, so we invest in owning and operating our own physical infrastructure rather than relying on 3rd party cloud providers for our customers’ traffic.
