Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?

A: Base86 is a radically simple approach to supply cost tracking, management, and optimization for the healthcare marketplace, beginning with the dental industry. We support all sides of the marketplace with our SaaS product, base86 Supplies, including dental practices, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers. Our goal is to create simple and efficient solutions without interfering in the customer relationships that make the industry possible. Organizing all your data into one place makes base86 the efficient means of supply management.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?

A: We are proud to announce Ron Joyal of 1-800-DENTIST and Dr. Lorne Lavine of The Digital Dentist as the latest addition to our advisory board. Their experience and domain expertise is exactly what we need to help us achieve our ambitious goals. They are greatly expanding our depth of knowledge in the dental space, the first healthcare vertical that we are tackling.

Q: Can you give us more insights into your offering?

A: Our main platform is a one-stop shop for dental offices to make all of their supply purchases from vendors they know as well as discovering new vendors offering unique products. Dental offices receive instant spending insights, price alerts, and price comparisons. Free of charge, suppliers can track quotes, sales, and distribution while connecting with new prospective customers. For suppliers who want more, we are also excited to release our new product, Storefront. This is a full-service option, with a Shopify e-commerce storefront, payment processing, and integration into the base86.com platform for even more leads and opportunities.

Q: What can we expect from your company in the next 6 months? What are your plans?

A: In the next 6 months we are expanding our Storefront option to more independent suppliers as well as launching the full version 1 of our base86 Supplies platform for dental practices and suppliers to connect and transact in one efficient marketplace. We will continue to expand through the next 6 months as well as develop the first mystery product to spring off of base86 Supplies. By the end of 6 months it will be ready to exit stealth mode and be our third full product line.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know about?

A: The best thing about base86 is our diverse community culture. We have a small but global team that works together to uniquely solve problems and tackle challenges. Our employees adapt to the modern working environment and turn common obstacles into new opportunities. We have pivoted across industries, moving from a restaurant supply oriented offering to a healthcare offering in a matter of months and our scrappy global startup is ready to tackle the next challenge.
