Q: Xena, can you tell us something more about the company and its history?
A: NOWPayments was founded in 2019, by the team behind ChangeNOW, a cryptocurrency exchange service. This is a crypto payment gateway that lets companies accept payments in +150 cryptocurrencies offering various payment tools, like a crypto payments API, Mass Payouts, e-commerce plugins, donation widgets and more. Our mission is to provide a crypto payment gateway that is easy to use and embed into existing websites. We believe everyone should have the chance to accept crypto payments or crypto donations for their e-commerce stores, charities or any type of business. The more crypto use cases we make, the closer mass adoption is.

Q: Any highlights on your recent announcement?
A: Network fee optimisation is one more solution that makes crypto payments more accessible for everyone. As any cryptocurrency user knows, this fee depends on the currency and sometimes can be extremely high and volatile. With our new smart algorithm merchants can significantly boost their income as our system will automatically choose the most optimal wallet to receive payment from users. It doesn’t require any extra steps from users or businesses, but still will help businesses pay fewer fees.
Q: What can we expect from your company in next 6 months? What are your plans?
A: Our perfect future is this: each and every store, be that offline or online one, accepts crypto with ease. With more and more businesses exploring crypto and blockchain, it will become more widespread and will finally make a more comprehensive entry into everyday lives, business, culture and economy which will bring us closer to Mass Adoption. So, our plan is to launch more smart solutions that will help merchants to accept payments in all possible ways, such as Point-of-Sale terminal for offline stores, subscriptions, apps and more. Everything that will bring more use cases to the crypto world.
