Q: Can you walk us through your course development process? How does it work?
A: Each course typically takes between two and four months to develop with faculty input, instructional design and accreditation before we host and market the program to our members. The basis of each program includes a needs assessment of the target audience to identify key gaps within knowledge and competencies that are considered important for improving patient outcomes. Expert medical writing and referencing the latest clinical guidelines along with real-world cases contributed by MDBC’s steering committee generally forms the foundation of our courses. Since we work across so many different geographies, we’re always cognizant of the local and cultural adaptations and respectful of the accreditation requirements that are unique to each jurisdiction before a program is launched and marketed to select target audiences.
Q: What are the benefits of partnering with MDBriefCase for institutions across the world?
A: MDBriefcase brings the collective experience of 20 years in leading online and blended education with the ability to deliver highly effective and behavior changing courses at a fraction of in-person training costs. We are experts are integrating new information into modern clinical practices through rich, multimedia experiences. Now with a state-of-the-art learning management system (LMS) powering our educational platform, we can easily rebrand, or white label, our platform to resemble any institution that is looking to curate and build their own brand, leadership and library of online CPD content for its employees and stakeholders. This is particularly relevant in the emerging markets that we’re partnering in and a big differentiator for MDBC since we’re known for being content development experts and can now easily and affordably provide an LMS solution that will plug into virtually any hospital or institutions IT system.
