Below is our recent interview with Benjamin Cobb, Director of Brand Communications at Stark Future:

Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to your company?
A: Stark Future is a technology company headquartered in Barcelona, building premium electric motorcycles that outperform their combustion rivals rather than simply matching them. We were founded in 2020 with a clear conviction: that the future of motorcycling is electric, and that going electric should mean no compromise on performance, emotion, or capability. Our flagship platform, the Stark VARG, has become the best-selling enduro motorcycle in the world, a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, because it proves that riders will choose electric when the product is genuinely better.
Q: What makes you the best choice? How are you unique?
A: What sets us apart is that we treat electric not as a constraint but as an advantage. Because we design everything in-house the motor, the battery, the software, the chassis, everything Stark is built in-house, we can tune the entire riding experience in ways a combustion platform never could, from instant, precisely metered power to features like our patent-pending Dynamic Traction Control. We’d rather let the results speak: our bikes are winning at the highest levels of competition versus combustion; just see this weekend’s result in the FIM World Supercross, where we podiumed in SX2 with Michael Hicks, and our riders consistently tell us the VARG simply does things their previous bikes couldn’t. We’re not asking anyone to compromise for the sake of being green. We’re offering a faster, smarter, more capable machine that happens to be electric.

Q: Who is your ideal client and why?
A: Honestly, our ideal client is everyone, and we mean that. Someone completely new to two wheels, a seasoned professional racer, a mountain biker looking for their next thrill, a daily commuter, an office worker who wants something exciting in the garage on the weekend. What unites them isn’t experience level; it’s a willingness to be serious about performance and open to what’s next. The racer, the enduro enthusiast, the rider who pushes hard and expects the machine to keep up, they care about lap times, torque, and control far more than badges or tradition. But so does the first-timer who simply wants a bike that’s approachable, intuitive, and genuinely fun.
What we’ve found is that once anyone throws a leg over a VARG, the conversation about “electric versus combustion” tends to disappear, because the bike earns its place on merit. That’s the beauty of what we’ve built: it rewards the expert and welcomes the newcomer in the same breath. And above all, we’re drawn to riders who see themselves as part of a shift, people who want to be early to something they believe is inevitable.
Q: What can we expect from you in the next six months? What are your plans?
A: We’re in a strong position and intend to keep building on it. Our focus for the coming months is threefold: continuing to expand and refine our product range, deepening our presence in international markets, and staying at the front of the competition, where our engineering gets its toughest and most honest test. We’ve had an encouraging first half of the year, record deliveries and our first profitable period, and that gives us a solid foundation to grow responsibly. We’d rather let announcements speak for themselves when the timing is right, but readers can expect us to keep pushing the boundaries of what an electric motorcycle can do.

Q: What is the best thing about your company that people might not know?
A: That we’re profitable and growing fast, not just an ambitious startup burning through investment. We recently reached our first EBIT-positive period, with first-half revenues up 46 percent, which is rare for a young company in this industry and, we think, a sign that the electric performance category is real and commercially healthy. But beyond the numbers, the thing people don’t always see is how much of Stark is built in-house by a genuinely obsessive team of engineers and riders. The company runs on the same energy you feel when you twist the throttle on a VARG, and that culture, more than any single spec, is what we´re proudest of.
