As more people work from home or are simply under the quarantine, they are exposed to increasing cyber threats as time goes on. Hackers are using more sophisticated phishing attacks, malware, and viruses to take advantage of our increased online presence. Malwarebytes blocks spyware, ransomware, Trojans, and malicious phishing sites. These safety tools focus on threats facing homes and businesses.

If your business recently made the transition to working virtually but are having a hard time keeping track of and supporting your mobile assets, let us help. We can assist you with our Helpdesk support services, Network Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Company Security Awareness Training (remote or in-person). We are also able to get you the tools your IT team needs to manage and support company devices remotely, so you can stay in business.

Q: Why should cybersecurity be important for every business?

A: All too often, individuals and small businesses think they are either immune to or too small to be attacked. The truth is that all people and businesses are vulnerable and suffering from some form of attack. More people are sharing information online, making cybersecurity an ever-increasing necessity. Online banking and other services make tasks easier for businesses but also expose their private information.

Most small businesses are concerned about cybersecurity, but they aren’t doing enough to protect themselves against these threats. One recent survey found that a third of small businesses aren’t taking any practical steps to protect against cyber threats, and half don’t have a cybersecurity budget. These businesses continue to think that they are too small to be the target of a cyber-attack. These businesses lack the technology, resources, finances, and legal knowledge that they need to protect themselves.
