366 Degrees is the flagship marketing automation platform from OMI. Below is our recent interview with Brett Whitley, Marketing & Sales Director at OMI:
Q: Could you provide our readers with a brief introduction to 366 Degrees?
A: 366 allows small to medium businesses to communicate with leads across several channels and track their interaction with your content. We built 366 for the small business space and pride ourselves on being the best value prop in the industry.
Q: Can you give us insights into your features?
A: With integration into CRM platforms like Nimble and Salesforce, you can keep your lead database up to date across your marketing and sales teams. 366 features smart content creation with pre-made HTML snippets that make creating emails and landing pages easy so you don’t need to be an HTML guru to create compelling content! Then, 366 allows you to track your leads’ interactions with your content and automatically follow up with behaviorally cued automatic drip campaigns. 366 features integrations to Salesforce, Datanyze, Nimble, and now Vidyard for video marketing made easy.
Q: Is video really the most powerful tool for marketing today?
A: Probably so, video is fast becoming the most popular way to consume content online. We have seen enormous success with integrating video into our marketing efforts. In fact, the guys over at dreamgrow.com found that “an introductory email that includes a video receives an increase click-through rate by 96%.” We thought the best way to deliver video effectively for our customers and for our own internal use was to partner with industry leader Vidyard. With Vidyard and 366 Degrees, you can deliver video content through your email marketing efforts and track deep analytics on who is watching your video down to the second. Video is only growing more and more, so if you’re not in video, you’ll get left behind.
Q: What are the most common issues SMBs face when transitioning into the digital area?
A: Implementation, integration, and execution. The actual setup process for some platforms can be lengthy, sometimes taking weeks or longer. Regarding integration, people have trouble getting their tech stack aligned in such a way that all elements complement each other. In terms of execution, people often fade away when they realize that running digital efforts is not an instant solution. It takes time and effort, but the ROI you see upon proper execution will be worthwhile 100% of the time. Stick with it, and going digital will pay off.
Q: What’s next for 366 Degrees?
A: Currently, we’re working on building out some new functionality around lead scoring in Nimble, as well as some deeper campaign functionality. In the meantime, we are really pushing our Nimble Partner program, to deliver 366 Degrees through dedicated partner channels and develop a team of expert partners that know the ins-and-outs of CRM and marketing automation and enable their clients to leverage the power of both to win more deals and social sell effectively.
