Q: Can you tell us something more about the company and what you do?
A: The hospitality industry is reliant on legacy systems and processes that are several decades old. Many of these processes are manual and paper-based. We’re bringing hospitality into the modern era with easy-to-use responsive technology and a focus on sustainability for paperless night auditing, business intelligence dashboarding and other back office must-haves.
Q: What makes your company the best choice?
A: When it comes down to hoteliers’ ability to out-perform their competition, information management capability is as mission critical as it gets. Our cloud-based information management tools provide secure sourcing, processing and sorting of hospitality data. As a result, hoteliers and GM’s can manage information efficiently and securely, and enable employees to be more flexible and productive in their work, all while still adhering to guidelines and regulations. Our cloud solutions reduce or eliminate paper usage so all the costs and major environmental damage that go along with printing and storage are also reduced or eliminated. Choosing to aid the replenishment of natural resources and reduce waste and emissions is the best choice. It’s the right thing to do.
Q: Who are your clients and what challenges you’re helping them solve?
A: Our cloud dashboards, document management software and integrated data feeds solve challenges with visibility, connectivity, and control. Outcomes include higher levels of productivity, strict regulatory compliance, and reduced environmental impact. All of these outcomes have a net positive impact on the bottom line.
Q: What’s the vision that guides you?
A: We’re on a mission to transform the hotel back office – globally. Our goal is to make it easy for hospitality professionals to spend more time growing their business, and less time on the areas that take them away from it. Q: What can we expect from myDigitalOffice in the future?
A: In the remaining months of 2019, we’re excited to release our new budgeting and forecasting tool to help hoteliers use their data effectively. It transforms the budgeting and forecasting process into a strategic planning aid that is fast, accurate, and seamless. We added over 2,000 new properties to our customer portfolio this year so our annual tree-planting program (one tree planted for every property using myDigitalOffice, every year) will be significantly larger. We need to start training for all the digging. In 2020, we’ll keep striving to break down the barriers keeping hoteliers from using their own data effectively. We’ll continue to build integrations, partnerships and tools to support a healthy digitally-driven hospitality ecosystem.
